Why are IYDL at Basepoint?

In Your Defence Limited we are located at Basepoint Business Centre in Crawley. Our location is convenient for Sussex and Surrey cases. Most days our lawyers travel throughout England and Wales, utilising the Gatwick hub.

One reason that our directors selected Basepoint Crawley is that it is owned by the ACT Foundation. As a charitable organisation ACT provide grants to individuals and other charities. Their mission statement is 'enhancing the quality of life for people in need'.

Each Basepoint centre is dedicated to a particular local charity. Any profit made by the Basepoint centres for their chosen charity are matched (up to £10,000) by the ACT Foundation. Crawley is currently supporting The Olive Tree Cancer Support Centre charity.

In Your Defence Ltd have our own prestigious and self-contained premises. We do ask, however, that visitors check-in at the friendly Basepoint Reception. We will then be informed of the arrival and attend as soon as possible. Most visitors attend by mutually convenient appointments.

In Your Defence Ltd are nationally renowned specialist criminal lawyers. Our chairman, Andrew Parker, has experience of conducting and liaising on cases in Europe; including the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. Our Basepoint location is therefore excellent for travelling to Europe from Gatwick International Airport. Indeed, we can observe the planes taking off and landing from our main consultation room. Travel by the Gatwick Express is also convenient as we defend suspects and defendants nationwide. And for our Central London conference chambers near City Thameslink and Blackfriars stations.

We are also about 10 minutes drive from the M23 Motorway and there are normally free visitor car parking spaces. Handy for all new or existing clients, especially for our unique motoring law advice facility, M23Law.

Location, location, location. Centred in the Gatwick Diamond but with London facilities. In your defence, it's what we do.
