Elderly man convicted sexual offences against school girls

The accused, Paul Mahoney was found guilty of indecency towards two school girls. The indecency involved sexually touching, which occurred several years ago. Mahoney claimed that the allegations were untrue and that it was a “conspiracy”.

Paul Mahoney of Spring Close, Lutterworth was found guilty of five counts of sexually assaulting a child under thirteen. Despite denying the claims he was reported to have attempted to conceal a computer memory stick. Upon analysis, the memory stick was found to have child pornography.

In addition to charges of sexual offences, Paul Mahoney will also be charged for possession of indecent images of children. The sentencing is due to take place 4th July.
